Help Us Help Others
HomeCare Services, Inc. of Dallas County is funded through private and corporate donations, foundations and funding from the Department on Aging, Dallas County, Dallas County Board of Health, Iowa Department of Public Health, Iowa Transit Authority and Federal Transit Authority, Veterans and Medicaid. Our dedicated staff and volunteers of HomeCare Services take great pride in helping individuals maintain their independence while staying connected with the community. Like all social service organizations, however, mounting economic pressures coupled with declining federal and state resources present unprecedented financial challenges for HomeCare Services.
As you can imagine, these same forces are driving increased demand for our services.
The need for more services to more people continues to increase, especially as our population ages. Due to aging, special needs, lack of resources (including the ability to drive), lack of a support system (such as small children needing rides to pre-school or the elderly who have no one to help), and many other reasons, there is an ever-increasing need for our services.
Thanks to the help of caring individuals and companies, as well as other funding we receive, we are able to continue to fund these services.
Won't you help?
Since we are a 501c3, your donation is tax-deductible, and will help supplement other funding. This helps make up a shortfall in revenue since many of our services are provided with little or no charge, or are donation-based. Every dollar you donate is helpful and immensely appreciated.
